Last term, our Year 7 Art students studied insects through a variety of mediums including watercolour, observational drawing, oil pastels, and collage. These skills were then utilised for the students to create their own hybrid insect.

Their homework assignment over Easter was to create a specialised environment for their insect. The brief allowed students to explore any medium, some opted for photography & drawing, others were more hands-on in their creation. A brilliant display of the Hallifordian value of creativity.
