Halliford School organises several transport routes from the local area for its pupils to travel to and from School. Our routes have recently undergone a review to bring them up to date and to service current requirements. Our range of coach services cover Kew, Richmond, Esher, Claygate, Cobham, Thames Ditton, Byfleet, Weybridge, Ottershaw, Woking, Staines and Wraysbury, and include a link with Walton-on-Thames railway station, which connects with Surbiton in 7 minutes and Woking in 12 minutes.
We would like to encourage our parents to consider using the service for their children to help the environment, reduce local traffic congestion and to encourage independent travel in a safe environment.
There are eight coach routes in operation. These operate every school day, and costs can be obtained from the Bursary. If you are interested in using any of our transport services or would like to enquire about costs or a different pick-up or drop off stop, please email fees@hallifordschool.co.uk
Please find more detailed information on the route stops below.
Our Route B2 incorporates a stop at Walton Station, which is then a direct service to/from school. If the stop becomes too busy, priority will be given to those using the train. Walton Station is well connected with direct routes from/to Surbiton and Woking.
We also run a ‘late’ shuttle bus service back to Walton station, Monday to Thursday at 5.15pm. This must be booked in advance on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting Reception directly. If your child is an existing afternoon bus user, there will be no extra charge. If not, a single journey charge will apply. Please note that a place on this bus is not guaranteed due to a very limited number of spaces.
