students getting onto a coach

School Transport

Halliford School welcomes families from across Surrey and South-West London. Our daily coach network makes the journey easy from Esher, Cobham, Weybridge, Woking, Staines, Richmond and the surrounding areas, with convenient rail links via Shepperton and Walton-on-Thames stations.

Which areas does the Halliford School coach service cover?

Halliford School partners with Vectare, a specialist school transport software company, to improve our transport offering. One of the key benefits of Vectare is the ability to view seat availability in real time. You no longer need to worry about whether there will be a seat for your child on their preferred route. Through the intuitive system, you can instantly see which seats are available and make a booking accordingly. This real-time visibility ensures that you can plan your child’s transportation more efficiently.

Our range of coach services covers South-West London and Surrey, including Kew, Richmond, Esher, Claygate, Cobham, Thames Ditton, Coombe Lane, Surbiton, Byfleet, Weybridge, Woking, Staines and Wraysbury, and includes a link with Walton-on-Thames railway station, which connects with Surbiton in 7 minutes and Woking in 12 minutes.

How is Halliford School connected by train?

Walton-on-Thames Station Service

Our Route F incorporates a stop at Walton-on-Thames Railway Station, which is then a direct service to/from school. If the stop becomes too busy, priority will be given to those using the train.  Walton Station is well connected, with direct routes to and from Surbiton and Woking.

Shuttle Service to Walton-on-Thames Station

We also run a ‘late’ shuttle bus service back to Walton-on-Thames Railway Station. This runs Monday to Thursday with departures at 5pm and 5.30pm. Seats must be booked in advance on a first-come, first-served basis using the Vectare booking system. If your child already has an afternoon booking on one of our routes, there will be no extra charge. If not, a single journey charge will apply. Please note that a place on this bus is not guaranteed due to the very limited number of spaces.

Shepperton Station

Halliford is a short walk from Shepperton train station, where trains run from Waterloo via Clapham Junction, Wimbledon, Kingston, Hampton and Teddington.

Wimbledon to Shepperton in 37 minutes, Kingston to Shepperton in 25 minutes and Teddington to Shepperton in 20 minutes.
