Clubs & Activities

We are delighted to be able to offer our students a wide variety of learning experiences outside the classroom to support and enhance the learning that goes on inside the classroom. We believe these are an invaluable part of our students’ education and strongly encourage students to participate.

Activities provide an opportunity not just to develop life-long interests but also to make friends, develop new skills and grow in confidence.

Mr Slocock, our Assistant Head Co-Curricular, has finalised plans to offer as wide a variety of co-curricular opportunities as possible to our students to participate in at home.

These clubs will, for the most part, run between 4pm and 5pm; however, there are some clubs that will need to run at different times due to the personal circumstances of the teachers supervising the activity. Please be aware that some activities may need to change according to circumstances, but we will try to keep them running as they have been advertised. In addition to this, we will review the clubs each week and I expect to add more activities or make changes as the term progresses.

The idea for many of these clubs is to minimize screen time where possible and we have included options that take students away from their computers. There are also some activities that are presented as a video such as the PE Challenges activity which students can access at any time and complete during the week.
