Mr Hoare, Teacher of English

“As an Early Career Teacher at Halliford School in Shepperton, I can confidently say that my experience here has been nothing short of life changing. From the moment I stepped onto the picturesque school grounds, I was greeted by a sense of warmth and belonging that immediately made me feel at home. My time at Halliford School has been transformative, both personally and professionally. It is a place where I have grown as an educator, formed lifelong friendships, and felt truly valued as a member of the school community. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful institution and look forward to continuing to contribute to its legacy of excellence.”

LEH Teaching Partnership SCITT Teacher Training Programme

LEH School in Hampton is proud to work with two national School-Centred Initial Teacher Training initiatives – known as SCITTs – to help train brilliant teachers of the future. As a regional hub, LEH have partnered with six local schools, including Halliford School to give experience of being part of a team in an independent school setting as part of your training. Book your place at one of our upcoming taster sessions and find out more here.

The next online info event on the NMAPS hub takes place on 7th May from 6pm-7pm. Book your place here.

National Mathematics & Physics (NMAP) School-Centred Initial Teacher Training provider (SCITT) is England’s only school-centred provider of subject-specific teacher training in Mathematics and Physics with an enhanced focus on subject knowledge and pedagogy.  The NMAP SCITT Programme was developed and is delivered by expert practising teachers in collaboration with the subject associations. The SCITT’s most recent Ofsted inspection highlights how well we know our trainees as individuals and support them; Ofsted also commented about our well-structured, cohesive and ambitious curriculum. National Modern Languages SCITT (NML SCITT) are on a mission to create the next generation of modern foreign languages (MFL) teachers in the UK. We provide teacher training for anyone wanting to become a languages teacher. Our course is the only national teacher training course specialising in modern foreign languages in the UK. Developed by experienced modern foreign languages educators, our passion for languages and language learning led to the creation of a unique teacher training programme which includes a combination of extensive school-based, in-classroom practical experience together with exemplary training.
