Due to the popularity of this subject, we are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivational Teacher of Physics to deliver outstanding teaching from Key Stage 3 up to A level. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and resourced department who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of science leaders.

The Physics department is currently staffed by 1 full time and 3 part time staff, who work closely together as a team. The department is ably supported by two full time science technicians who are shared across the Science Department. The department shares an office with the Biology and Chemistry teachers ensuring free exchange of resources and ideas. Each teacher has their own, well-equipped teaching laboratory with interactive LCD screen and the space to complete practical work owing to our small class sizes (maximum of 24 at GCSE but in most cases 20).

Halliford School is an HMC Independent Day school in Surrey for boys aged 11 to 18, with a co-educational Sixth Form.
